The Build360 research group is based in the ATU Galway-Mayo Department of Building and Civil Engineering. Its aim is to support industry in the transition towards a decarbonized and circular built environment. The Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Centre for Mineral-based Construction Materials (ICEC-MCM) focuses on improving the way we use materials such as aggregate, cement, brick, plasterboard, stone, and glass, particularly in infrastructure.
This network consists of 16 industrial Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral projects.

CIRCULÉIRE is a public-private partnership co-created by Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) and three strategic partners: the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and EIT Climate-KIC. Together with industry partners, CIRCULÉIRE aims to assist manufacturers and their supply chains to switch from linear to circular business models.
