Advancing the circular economy through infrastructure

This report published in November 2021 by the Global Infrastructure Hub explores transitions pathways for practitioners in circular infrastructure. Two key benefits of circular infrastructure were identified – mitigating climate change and mitigating the risk of resource scarcity.

Circular Economy Taxonomy Study: Buildings do not meet EU requirements

An excellent study by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) examined the market-readiness of the circular economy criteria proposed in the EU Taxonomy. Several challenges were identified including: reuse of material content, use of recyclates, insufficient information flows, and a lack of circular construction methods, see link for full report.
